Course Description
If you’ve always wanted to learn how to scuba dive, discover new adventures or simply see the wondrous world beneath the waves, this is where it starts. The PADI Open Water Diver course is the world’s most popular scuba course, and has introduced millions of people to the adventurous diving lifestyle. You’ll breathe underwater for the first time (something you’ll never forget) and learn how to be good, safe certified diver. This course consists of three main phases: the classroom phase, to understand basic principles of scuba diving; the pool phase, to learn basic scuba skills; and the Open Water certification dives to review your skills and explore!
The Open Water Diver course fee ($349) includes:
- Course tuition, enrollment fees, and certification card
- Instructor fees for Open Water Certification dives
- Complete audio visual presentations
- Major equipment for pool sessions and certification dives
- Regulator, BC, Computer console, wetsuit, tanks & air fills
Course Structure
- Prerequisite: 12 years and older
- Two sessions per week for 4 Weeks*
- Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday
- 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
- *Other schedule structures are available on a limited basis
- Sessions alternate between classroom and pool
- Pool sessions conducted on-site in ADIs HEATED POOL
- Four (4) Open water certification dives
- Done the weekend following the last class/pool session
- Two dives on Saturday and two dives on Sunday
- NOTE: Certification dives are done in the ocean where you will dive on real coral reefs and enjoy seeing all the wonders of the underwater world.

- PADI Open Water Manual (Crew Pack)
- Boat Fees
- Two dives on Saturday, two on Sunday
- $65 per day, plus tax ($138.70)
- Personal Equipment
- Must be purchased before first pool session
- You may use your own personal equipment, but we must review it to ensure it meets the requirements for SCUBA training
