| Divemaster PADI allows this course to be taught two ways: as a class OR as an internship. ADI prefers the internship method because we believe Divemasters should be taught one at a time, and that they should work with real beginning students – not simulated ones. ADI’s Divemaster internship is the most complete available. This course can take several months, and the student must work with two complete open water classes. It is designed to create capable, competent Divemasters. Most importantly, we are preparing the divemaster student to become an instructor.
